Thrift Con Adventure: Upcycling a Blue Blazer & Thrifting in Atlanta
I show you how I made a super sexy Blazer in very few steps. It’s such an easy up cycling project, anyone could do it!
Find a Blazer
Cut the Blazer in half.
Cut one of the halves in half.
Sew the bottom half you cut onto the other half.
Now pair it with your favorite belt and That’s it!
I also take you with me to Thriftcon ATL. Thriftcon was a great experience, I would definitely go back. Let me share some things I learned:
Some of the vendors were uncharging for the good so don’t expect to pay regular thrift prices.
Vintage Item are the most expensive so plan to spend $150 or more on those items.
Bargain, A lot of the vendors travel from out of the state so they are open to bargaining just so they can make a sale.
Don’t buy items you can find at your local thrift store for cheaper.
Mingle and meet the vendors, you never know what connections you’ll make.
Booths are cheap so if you thrift a lot, you may benefit by getting your own booth!
