Mona “Bird” Hayslett
MonA (pronounced Monae) is my middle name given to me by my parents.
Bird, a nickname given to me by my mother because of my big head and long arms and legs resembling Tweety Bird when I was little.
I like to think I'm a Millinoian...Born in Illinois, raised in Both Minnesota and Illinois.
I also like long walks on the beach.lol and so on...
It all started when I realized what I wore could speak to others(*plays violin* andddd scene...) but seriously my outfit choices made a statement. Whether that statement was saying "Move out of my way, I'm on a mission" in a black dress, opaque tights and a leather/black suede blazer or " Come dance with me" in high waist denim jeans and a red velvet bralette. I encourage you to make a statement, not one that people tell you to make but one that you feel, and that is why I created my brand R8ted Fashion and decided to live a #R8tedlifestyle.
R8ted Fashion the clothing brand:
This brands sole purpose is to motivate women(maybe even men in the future) to find confidence within themselves. A study shown on dove.us stated that 64 percent of women globally agree that when it comes to their looks, they are their own worst beauty critic; leading them to rely on peers, social pressure and the media to feel beautiful. R8ted fashion encourages women to embrace their natural beauty* and walk with confidence. Within r8ted fashion there are five different clothing lines with different ratings, each to make your statement.
PG (Pretty Gorgeous) for the woman who feels simply gorgeous or angelic
G (Glam Girl) for the woman who embraces her inner diva
R (Rebel) for the woman who refuses to conform; rebellious
X (Sexy ) for the woman who is fierce and stands out wherever she goes
B (Boss) for the woman who embraces her natural beauty
Ratings give women the power to choose how they want to look and feel. Confidence is the best outfit. What rating will you choose?
*natural beauty by my definition: whatever look that makes you feel most beautiful inside and out.
R8ted Fashion Productions:
