Clueless Monologue

Clueless Monologue

Clueless was a quirky teen comedy with a few overlooked messages. This monologue was chosen because of the time we live in, where people are still oppressed because the government refuses to “go in the kitchen and rearrange some things”. How lovely would the world be if people were as adaptive too change as a Cher in this monologue.

What I took from this monologue was that if America could be more open to change and redistributing the food(metaphorically said) then we can all eat. Lead with love then we can most certainly be in a better place and all live free and “certainly party” together. Sounds like a beauty pageant answer and super cliche but tis’ truly how I feel.

It could all be so simple *Lauryn Hill voice*

CLUELESS is an American commedy film directed by Amy Heckerling in 1995. The protagonist is Cher (Alicia Silverstone), a popular high school girl that only goes for shopping, looks for a boyfriend and helps her friends in looking good. During debate class Cher takes a speech on "Should all oppressed be allowed refuge in America".
