DIY: How to Turn your old Tights into cute overalls!

This project takes less than 30 minutes to complete and you only need 4 items. You ready for this!? Let me break it down with directions pictures and a video! Have fun!

What you need:

1. Tights(1 or 2 pair)

2. Scissors

3. Pins

4. Sewing Machine

What to do:

Step 1. Try on tights and add a chalk line where you want your tights or leggings to end.

Step 2. Cut where you marked, lay the tights down flat and then lay the leftover footies on top of them evenly spaced out.

Step 3. Pin the footies to the top layer of the tights.

Step 4. Flip the tights over.

This is where it gets a little tricky..

Step 5. Lay the footies flat on the bottom layer of the tights then you’re going to fold the bottom of the footies so just the toe portion about a 1/2inch under.

Step 6. Pin the toe portion to the bottom layer of the tights. When it’s pinned correctly you should be able to lift the tights up by the straps and you should not see the pins sticking out.

Step 7. Sew.
